The lid of the sake barrel is called a "mirror," and opening it is a very auspicious ritual that involves wishes for "good fortune in the future" and "harmony to spread."

With shouts of "Yoisho! Yoisho! Yoisho!", the three past presidents swung down their gavels with great force, instantly filling the venue with a celebratory mood!
The cruise begins with a grand opening ceremony of the sake barrel.
